Head Receptionist Required – Full Time
We are currently recruiting for the position of Head Receptionist at our beautiful, boutique hotel near Rugby & Lutterworth.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role and knowledge of hotel reservation systems and processes is essential. The role will be ideally suited to a person who is used to working shifts and is happy to work both late and early shifts, as rotered. As the first point of contact for our guests, upon arrival, the successful candidate will present a friendly, helpful attitude to all guests and will be enthusiastic and self-motivated. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and have some people-management experience. Due to our rural setting, own transportation is required.

Night Porter Required – Full Time
We are currently recruiting for the position of Night Porter for our boutique hotel and wedding venue near Rugby.
This position would ideally suit a person who is used to working night shifts and is comfortable working autonomously. A knowledge of hotel systems would be an advantage, although full training will be given to the right candidate.
As a dedicated member of the hotel team you will be responsible for the night running of the hotel including:
- Checking guests in/out. Operating our hotel reservations software and assisting with luggage when required.
- Carrying out security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety.
- Service of food, in particular room-service, plus serving drinks at the bar to our residential guests, when required.
- Some basic food preparation, as requested.
- Cleaning of areas as requested.
- Ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies are securely kept.
- The preparation of breakfast trays and service to the rooms when required
The successful candidate will present a professional, friendly and helpful attitude to all guests and be willing to assist with guests’ requests, such as wake-up calls and ordering newspapers. Furthermore, a willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary is essential and a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and local amenities and attractions would be an advantage.
Some weekend work will be necessary and, due to our rural location, your own transportation is required.
